Oshkosh, WI News by a Student Day 15

There will be crews working from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. at the Jackson Street and Murdock Ave. roundabout on February 23 and March 3 2017.

The reason for the late construction is so that it will not impede larger vehicles when they go through the roundabout, Common Council documents show.

According to the Resolution sent before the Common Council, Steven M. Gohde, Assistant Director of Public Works asked for a noise variance during these hours.

The nearest building is 150 feet away and is partially blocked by trees which would help with the noise, the document says.

The Memorandum was approved by the City Manager, Mark Rohloff.
